A Note From the Founder: Ella Aquino

I did not enter the waste management industry; I grew up in it. My foundation is built not in a boardroom, but on the ground, understanding the complex, chaotic, yet crucial work of the junk shop industry.

For years, I saw the financial flaw that defeats every recycling effort: the hard-to-process plastic—the sachets and films—is the most pervasive pollutant, yet it has zero economic value. This low-value plastic is the same material that chokes our drainage systems, turns every heavy rain into a flood disaster, and undermines the multi-billion peso infrastructure projects meant to protect our communities.

My professional life has always been defined by analysis: I am a Marketing Professional and Data Analyst, applying the rigor of my studies in Political Science and Economics to solve real-world crises. This unique perspective allowed me to see past the chaos of the junk shop industry and diagnose the core financial weakness that defeats all recycling efforts: the unmanaged, low-value plastic

Our Vision: From Coastal Disaster to National Resilience

My vision is radical because it is fundamentally financial: We must industrialize the capture of plastic waste and make it too valuable to fail.
— Ella Aquino, Founder

My vision is to replace the cycle of corruption and disaster with a Zero-Leakage Revenue Engine. Our mission is to prove that the solution to the Philippines' systemic issues—from poverty to flooding—is found in an ethical, transparent, and profitable business model.

I am building a future where the people who do the essential work—the waste-pickers and junk shop owners—are formally integrated, empowered by the IBASURAFY App, and secured with dignified careers.

We are establishing the financial and physical infrastructure that makes pollution economically impossible. We are transforming the Philippines into the global benchmark for circularity, proving that Waste is truly the new Wall Street Hedge Fund.

Pillars of Commitment:

Our Stakeholders

  • Our commitment to our investors is to prove that Waste is the New Wall Street Hedge Fund. We secure capital by de-risking the environmental challenge. By industrializing the most complex waste (MLP) and monetizing it through high-margin, globally scalable Flagship Brands (Project Visión and Recycled Architectural Blocks), we promise superior returns shielded from commodity market volatility. Your capital doesn't just fund a good cause; it secures a zero-leakage revenue engine with exponential growth potential.

  • Our social commitment is to formalize and professionalize the informal waste sector across the Philippines. Through the IBASURAFY App, we transform sporadic, dangerous, and undervalued jobs into stable, tech-enabled careers. We ensure the hands doing the hardest work are secured with guaranteed pay, benefits, and dignity. This is about building economic resilience alongside environmental resilience

  • Our commitment to our community is permanent, tangible security. We are solving the fundamental reason why corruption-plagued flood control projects fail: unmanaged plastic waste that clogs our vital infrastructure. By removing this plastic bottleneck at the source and converting it into resilient construction materials, we are building climate-proof infrastructure, ensuring that our communities are protected from disaster and can focus on economic growth, not perpetual recovery.

  • My legacy ambition is to establish the Philippines not as a victim of the plastic crisis, but as the global model for systemic circularity. We are creating a fully documented, data-driven, and financially viable blueprint that can be replicated across any coastal emerging economy. Our success will be the proof that through data, market strategy, and industrial scale, we can turn the world's most difficult pollution problem into its most compelling and ethical financial opportunity.
